We started helmet. because the conversation about AI is missing something: the relational nature of being human.

AI doesn't enter a business. It enters a team.

The noise is deafening: tools, platforms, automation, disruption, fear mongering. Every headline louder than the last. Every sales pitch more urgent. Transformations built on technology first and people never. The relational dynamics an afterthought.

AI is the most significant shift of our time, and it's being sold like a kitchen appliance. That bothered us enough to do something about it.

Our founders came to the same conclusion from completely opposite directions.

One spent years on the human side: behaviour, psychology, transformation, the wiring of how people think, relate, act and decide. She then went on to work in tech, led an ethics board dedicated to building technology responsibly, and watched an industry move fast without asking nearly enough questions about what it was breaking.

The other spent years in the engine room: software engineering, data systems, the architecture of how technology works. And watched tool after tool get built by brilliant people who hadn't been trained to consider what they were building and for whom.

That collision became helmet.
